[workmutt handles get in the way]

I can't believe no one's mentioned this yet. The quickest way to
overcome this problem is to cut the jaws off with a Skilsaw. Use a
60-tooth carbide-tipped blade for smooth cutting. Oh, and wear safety
goggles.
