Round two of winter finds and goodes.  Got some new fresh items this
time around.  Stuff has been moving out of here pretty fast, but there
is always more to come.

PayPal is preferred (if you use it) on all items. It's easier for me to
ship items off of a paid PayPal invoice, especially First Class ones.

Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation. Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item
is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Please put your name and address in the message. Saves time and email
traffic!

long, the face is 7/8" square (across the center), the peen is 15/16"
wide, and this weighs 14 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This
is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall
light patina.  The face has some frosting and the peen has some very
light dings. The eye is good.  This is a neat looking hammer to say the
least.  $20.00

Blacksmith Top Swage.  Measuring 8 1/8" overall, the head is 5 1/16"
long, the face is 2 11/16" high, the groove is 1/8" plus wide, and this
weighs 3 lbs 2 oz unboxed.  This is signed, but I can't read the mark.
This is stamped 1 1/4 on the top so it was a top fuller that was
modified.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some
light patina and some scuffs left over from when this was re-worked.
The face is fairly good.  The groove is a little uneven in width, but
that is good also.   The striking end is good. The handle is fugly and
wiggles a little, but it's there.  $25.00

Early Stanley No 25 Type 2B 10 Inch Adjustable Bevel.  This weighs 5 oz
unboxed.  This is a Type 2B and was made by Stanley between 1877 and
1891.  This is in good condition and was cleaned by someone else.  The
blade is good overall save for a little scuffing.  The edges and corners
are good.  The handle is also good.  The handle has some dings and was
refinished.  The patented locking screw does it's job.  This ain't
pristine, but it's good looking tool for seeing as how old it is, and it
will get the job done.  $25.00

the tips to the top of the joint) and this weighs 4 oz unboxed.  This is
in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There is a little frosting
and a few scuff marks on the legs.  The joint and tips are good.  The
locking screw and fine adjuster nut both work.  This ain't pristine, but
it will get the job done. $17.00

L S Starrett No 194 Universal Cabinet Scraper Plane.  Measuring 9" long
and this weighs 14 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition
and was cleaned.  The front plate has some light patina, the rest of the
head area is good, and the swivel works.  The blade has some frosting
and some spots of light pitting, but there is lots to work with.  The
handle has some dings, but it does have most of the original finish plus
a coat of wax.  I do not have the top handle.  This ain't minty, but
it's a quality tool that will get the job done. $25.00

I Sorby Boxwood Handle Cabinet Makers Turnscrew.  Measuring 7 15/16"
long, the tip is 3/16" wide, and this weighs 2 3/4 oz unboxed.  This is
in reasonably good condition and was cleaned (and it wasn't the first
time).  There are some scuffs and light patina on the shaft. The tip was
dressed at some point, but it's fairly good. The boxwood handle has some
staining, a small scorch mark, and a few dings, but it's solid.  This
ain't perfect, but it will get the job done. $17.00

Vintage Pexto No 2-A Tinsmith Stovepipe Shears.  Measuring 13 1/8" long,
the jaws are 2" deep, and this weighs 2 lbs 1 1/4 oz unboxed. Not signed
as to the maker, but not all of these were.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The paint job on the body was somebody
else's idea, but it's not too bad.  The jaws are good, the cutter edges
are sharp on both sides.  The joint is good with no play.  The crimpers
are also good, but I didn't mess with the screws.  This ain't minty, but
it will get the job done.  $22.00

North Bros Yankee Handyman Pat Pend No 2H Ratcheting Screwdriver. This
weighs 2 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned by
someone else.  The tip was dressed at some point.  The ferrule has some
frosting, but the markings are readable.  The ratchet works in both
directions.  The handle does have some wear to the finish.  This ain't
pretty or perfect, but it still is a neat older tool.  $14.00

Unusual Farriers Claw Hammer.  Measuring 12" overall, the head is 4 1/4"
long, the face is 13/16" in diameter, the claws are 1" wide across the
tips, and this weighs 12 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.
This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There are some
light scuffs from a previous cleaning and a few spots of very light
pitting, but overall, nothing too bad.  The face is good.  The claws are
also good save for a little crusty on the insides.  The handle is a
recent replacement and is good and on tight.  I gotta say that I sure
ain't see one like this before. $22.00

7/8" wide, 11/16" high, the peen is 1 3/8" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 6
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent condition
and was cleaned.  There is some overall light patina and some residue
from a somewhat recent black paint job.  The face has some frosting and
some tiny chips on the edges.  The peen is fairly good.  The punched eye
is also good, other than some scuff marks on the top from an also recent
handle job.  This ain't perfect, but it's a solid tool that will get the
job done.  $18.00

Eifel Flash 1916 Patent 8 Inch Plierench.  Measuring 8 3/4" long and
this weighs 1 lb 2 1/2 oz unboxed.  Joseph Eifel of Chicago, IL was
granted Pat. No. 1,181,654 on May 02, 1916 for the design of this tool.
This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There are a few
spots of rusting on the back, but it's good overall for the most part.
This comes with one jaw that is a mate to the fixed jaw.  Both of the
faces have some wear, but there is plenty left there.  The joint and
screwdriver tip on the one handle are also good.  This ain't pristine,
but considering the age of the tool, it sure ain't bad either.  $24.00

Stanley No 813G 10 Inch Sweep Brace.  This weighs 3 lbs 3/4 oz unboxed.
Austin L. Stowell of New Britain, CT was granted Pat. No. 2,485,991 on
Oct. 25, 1949 for the design of the chuck used on this tool (the 2 is
missing from the Patent Number mark).  The chuck is designed to accept
both square tang and round shaft bits.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There are a few stained spots on the arms
and ratchet area, but nothing too bad patina wise.  There also is some
staining on the cross hatched areas of the chuck, but that is crispy
otherwise.  The jaws are good.  The ratchet works in both directions and
the locked position.  The grip and pad still have most of the original
finish.  There are some dings and wear, but they both spin freely.  This
ain't minty, but this is considered to be one of Stanley's better
braces, and this guy will get the job done.  $38.00

8 15/16" long, 1 3/8" wide at the ends, 1 5/16" at the center, and this
weighs 1 lb 1 3/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition and
was cleaned.  The back is clean save for a little frosting and a couple
of small and very light spots of pitting.  The top has a few light
dings.  The edge will need a little work.  The front also has some light
frosting and pitting. The handles have some dings and stains, but they
are solid.  The ferrules and end caps have some light patina.  This
ain't perfect, but it's a quality tool that will get the job done.  $35.00

Hand Forged Slater Slate Roof Ripper.  Measuring 28 1/2" long, the head
is 2 1/16" wide, and this weighs 2 lbs 7 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to
the maker.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The
head is good with no cracks that I can see, and was finished nicely.
The rest of the shaft has some roughness left over from when this was
made.  The handle has some mushrooming on the front and end, which is an
occupational hazard for this kind of tool, but it's solid.  This ain't
perfect, but it will get the job done.  $25.00

L S Starrett No 76 4 Inch Fay Pattern Thread Caliper.  Measuring 4 5/8"
long and this weighs 1 3/4 oz unboxed.  Charles P. Fay of Springfield,
MA was granted Pat. No. 319,215 on June 2, 1885 for the design of this
tool and Laroy S. Starrett of Athol, MA was granted Pat. No. 642,170 on
Jan. 30, 1900 for the design of the split nut. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some frosting on the arms and a
little funky on the inside of the joint.  The spring and joint are
good.  The tips don't meet quite flush when closed.  The nut turns okay,
but the quick set doesn't want to work.  This is missing the ball on the
end of the screw.  This sure ain't minty, but then tools that are 100
plus years old rarely are and this will get the job done.  $24.00

Henry Disston & Sons No 1 12 Inch Try Square.  This weighs 12 oz
unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The
blade has a spot of light pitting at the top on the front at the end,
but the rest is clean and has almost all of the original finish.  There
are user initials stamped on the back at the end. The rulings are all
readable except for about 1/2" at the pitted spot.  The edges and
corners are fairly good.  The handle has some wear, dings, and stains.
This is true according to my reference square here.  This ain't minty,
but these bigger ones are sure getting few and far between any more.  $30.00

R Marples 7 1/2 Inch Jointers Mitre Square.  Measuring 7 1/2" long and
this weighs 5 oz unboxed.  There are two Robert Marples who worked as
jointer's tool makers in Sheffield from 1837 until 1860 and then the
firm became Robert Marples & Son who were in business from 1861 until
1931, but I think this is one of the earlier marks.  There is also a
crown stamp under the user initials.  This is in decent condition and
was cleaned by somebody else.  The blade has some spots of light
pitting.  The edges are fairly good.  The mahogany handle has some
dings, but everything is tight.  This ain't minty, but if it's as old as
I think that it is, it sure ain't ain't bad, and these guys sure do not
show up very often, at least around these here parts.  $30.00

Early Disston Fancy Screw 14 Inch Adjustable Bevel Square.  The blade is
14" long, the handle is 8 3/16" high, and this weighs 7 1/4 oz unboxed.
This isn't signed, but few of these were.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The blade has some light scuffs, but nothing
too bad patina wise, and still has most of the original gray finish.
The mahogany handle has some dings, stains, and there are user initials
on both sides.  The fancy locking screw does it's job.  This ain't
minty, but these bigger ones by any maker are sure getting few and far
between.  Just saying.  $35.00

lb 14 3/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned.  The jaws are good save for a few spots of frosting and
staining.  They cut paper cleanly.  The joint is good.  The handles have
some wear to the finish.  This ain't pristine, but it's a quality tool
that will get the job done.  $20.00

6" long, 2" wide, 1" high, and this all weighs 15 3/4 oz unboxed.  This
is in used, but reasonably good condition and was not cleaned.  There is
a little wear on the faces, but nothing too bad, and they are both
flat.  All the edges are good.  The original box has some stains and
wear, but it's solid.  This ain't minty, but it it sure ain't bad, and

Taylor Patent 1836 Iron 6 1/2 Inch Bitstock.  Measuring 10 1/2" long,
the sweep is 6 1/2", and this weighs 1 lb 3 1/2 oz unboxed.
Jeremy Taylor of Hebron, CT was granted Pat. No. 9,814X on June 30, 1836
for the design of this tool.  These were made by a number of makers and
this one isn't signed.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
Overall the body is fairly good, save for some spots of light pitting.
The chuck is solid with no cracks.  The locking tab joint pint was
replaced with a cooper one at some point in time.  The spring is a
little weak, but the tab is good.  There is a hole on the back side of
the chuck where it looks like a screw was going to go, but it was never
tapped.  The pin that keeps the pad on the shaft was also replaced at
some point with a nail.  There is some play on the shaft, but it doesn't
come off. That was oiled.  This ain't minty, but then tools of this age
rarely are and these smaller sweep ones aren't very common either.  $32.00

Uncommon Hand Forged Body Fender Spoon Tool.  Measuring 11 5/8" long
(straight across), the head area is 1 11/16" wide, about 7/32" thick,
and this weighs 1 lb 1 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.
This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There is some
light roughness left over from when this was made, but overall nothing
too bad patina wise.  The underside of the head area was polished at the
tip.  I'll tell ya what, this might not have a fancy maker's name, but
it's a solid and well made tool, and one that sure does not show up very
often.  $20.00

the face is 9/16" square, the peen is 3/4" wide, and this weighs 9 3/4
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, other than the user initials
pin punched on the one side.  This is in reasonably good condition and
was cleaned by someone else.  There are some scuff marks all around and
a few small spots of light pitting.  The face is good save for some
scuffing.  The peen is also good.  The eye is ready to drop on a
handle.  This ain't perfect, but it's a good sized tool for the small
jobs.  A working old hammer head for sure!  $15.00

C S Osborne No 149 2 3/8 Inch Leather Arch Punch.  This weighs 1 lb 13
3/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition, it was cleaned
and refinished by someone else.  The paint job is worn in a few spots,
but I don't see much in the way of patina underneath. The edge is good
and is fairly sharp.  The striking end has a few light dings.  This
ain't minty, but it's a whole lot cheaper than buying a new one.  $55.00

H H Stricker Hand Forged Felling Axe Head.  Measuring 5 15/16" long
(across the center), the edge is 3 3/4" high (straight across), and this
weighs 2 lbs 9 3/4 oz unboxed.  H H Stricker was a Vinemount PA (Berks
County) blacksmith who made tools from 1884 until 1896.  This is in
decent condition and was cleaned.  The wrought iron body has some dings
and light patina.  There is about 1/2" (at the center) of the steel bit
still left.  The poll does have some mushrooming and chipping.  I did
rule file over a few of the sharper spots there. The eye is fairly good,
the forge weld lines are visible at the front and rear on the underside,
but it's not cracked that I can see.  The one wing does have some dings
along the edge that travel into the eye.  This ain't pristine, and it
sure ain't got that kind of price tag either, but it is a very
collectible tool.  $65.00

peen is 9/16" wide, and this weighs 6 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned by someone else.  There is some pitting on the
back of the head and some lighter pitting on the top down by the peen.
The face is fairly good, save for some light dings and a few tiny chips
on the edge.  The peen is good.  The handle is original to the tool.
That has some dings, stains, 3 small notches filed on the front, and a
small hanging or strap hole at the end, but it's solid.  This ain't

light pitting and patina.  The tops of the jaws were dressed a little at
some point.  The jaws close up tight and flush across the tops.  The
cross hatching is worn, but visible.  The screw works and the spring is
fairly good.  This ain't the prettiest, but it will get the job done.

head is 3 1/4" long, the face is 7/8" in diameter, the peen is 13/16" in
diameter, and this weighs 12 1/4 oz total unboxed.  This has the 1960's
blue paint job and the first owner pin-punched March 1961 on the back of
the head and 73 on the front.  Other than that, this is in reasonably
good condition and was cleaned.  There is a little staining and some
wear to the finish, but nothing too bad. The face and peen both have
some light dings.  The handle looks to be the original one.  That also
has some dings, stains, and a partial drill hole at the one end, but
it's solid.  This ain't pristine, but it does have some history, and it
will get the job done.  $18.00

D Maydole Farriers Claw Hammer Head.  Measuring 4 5/8" long, the face is
5/8" in diameter, the claws are 1 1/8" wide across the tips, and this
weighs 14 1/2 oz unboxed.  The mark is faint, but can be read (with a
little help).  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.
There are some dings and a few spots of light pitting and patina.  The
face has light pitting and some tiny chips around the edges.  The claws
are good.  The eye is also good with no cracks.  This ain't minty, but
it's a quality tool that will get the job done.  $20.00

DBS Darling Brown & Sharpe 6 Inch Ruled Machinist Try Square. Measuring
6" long across the top of the blade, 4" high. and this weighs 11 oz
unboxed.  Darling Brown & Sharpe were Providence RI machinist tool
makers who were in business from 1866 until 1892, becoming the current
firm of Brown & Sharpe.  This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned.  The blade is ruled in 32nds across the entire length and is
good save for some staining and few frosted spots.  The edges and
corners are good and all the rulings are readable.  The front or signed
side has some user added rulings on the lower side.  The handle also has
some frosting and light patina.  There are some dings on the back and
pin punched user initials.  The inside of the handle has some score
marks.  This ain't pristine, but it sure ain't bad, and it will get the
job done.  $28.00

Big Orphan Turned Steel Trammel Point.  Measuring 7 3/8" long (excluding
the screw) the head is 1 1/4" in diameter, and this weighs 11 1/2 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There are a few light and small spots of
pitting, but overall nothing too bad.  The tip is good.  The screw has a
few sticky spots, but it travels the full distance and does remove.
This ain't perfect, and I wish I had the other one, but these guys sure
do not show up very often.  $18.00

Merit No 80 Style Cabinet Scraper Plane.  Measuring 11" long. the blade
is 2 13/16" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 8 1/4 oz unboxed. Merit was a
brand name used by Sears, this looks like it was made by E C Stearns for
them.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The sole
has some factory machining marks and a few light scratches.  The
japanning is original and 95% present.  There is a little funky on there
and a few dings.  The one handle has a small chip or casting flaw on the
side, there is japanning on it, so I'm pretty sure it's a flaw.  The
blade is good save for some frosting. All the screws work and were
oiled.  This ain't pristine, but it's a solid tool by a quality maker
that will get the job done.  $30.00

F G Pearson Sheffield 1 1/2 Inch Plane Iron & Cap.  Measuring 7" long, 1
1/2" wide across the edge, and this weighs 9 oz unboxed. Francis George
Pearson was a Sheffield England edge tool maker who worked from 1821
until at least 1911.  This is NOS, that's New Old Stock, but it did need
a little cleaning to get rid of some recent patina.  The face is clean.
The edge has the factory grind, but will need just a wee bit of
finishing.  The cap iron and screw are good.  This is a great iron for
either restoring that old plane or building a new one around it.  $24.00
