"Dietzgen 10" ( The 10 is probably the weight in ounces. )

Knowing that many Dietzgen goods were German imports, I surmise that the threads
will be metric.

An ancillary question: How shall I loosen the tip?  It does NOT have the cross-
drilled hole in the tip!  It looks to be somewhat corroded in place.

And, of course, it's tapered.
