276600 David Charnon 2022‑11‑20 A few misc items - free
Hello Galoots,I've been tripping over or moving around a couple of things for
too long, the following are offered for free. Please read carefully. No shipping
on any item, all located in frigid (today) Milwaukee WI1. 26" Henry Disston and
Sons miter saw. Straight as an arrow, very good handle, will need a sharpening.
The catch - the companion Stanley Miter box goes with this. It's in fair shape,
things move as they should, but there is a user made repair (not by me) that
doesn't seem to affect functionality. No saw unless you take the miter box as
well.2. Depth stop for a Stanley 78 plane, very good condition. I bought this
many moons ago at a local MWTCA for my Sargeant version, but found they are not
interchangeable. The catch - comes with a Stanley 78 body (only - no fence, but
I think I have a blade) It has definitely seen better days, patent date of
6-7-10 on body. No depth unless you take the plane body as well.No rush. If you
want to arrange what the owwm people call a Rucker, feel free. Just hoping these
can find a good home.Dave
276613 Michael Blair <branson2@s...> 2022‑11‑23 Re: WTB plane blade.
Yesterday I picked up a rather elaborately decorated German moving
fillister plane, user made. Deeply carve into the top is 1836. It had
been sitting in an antique store for months, and the price was
significantly lowered. Couldn't pass it up! Alas, no blade. It needs
a tapered blade 1 1/4 inch wide.

If somebody on the porch can help, I would really appreciate it.
